A Morrison man will serve half a year in jail for having sex with an underage girl.The defendant, Darris Conrad Spann, 43, entered a best-interest plea before Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley to the charge of statutory rape. He was sentenced to serve 180 days of a five-year sentence. Spann’s sentence comes after he had unlawful relations last year with a girl who was 17 at the time.
