Sleeping driver triggers wreck

This 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Ben Martin, 30, suffered front-end damage Wednesday night when it rear-ended a 2003 Toyota Camry driven by James H. Broom, 56, on Manchester Highway. According to the highway patrol, Broom was stopped at the red light at Old Well Road around 10 p.m. Martin said he fell asleep at the wheel, causing him to plow into the back of the Broom vehicle. No serious injuries were apparent.
