Screening set to detect development difficulties

Is your child slow in learning to crawl, walk or talk?If so, the Warren County School System is offering a development screening with the hopes of catching problems early and providing help.There are four dates in which to schedule a screening with the first being Friday, Aug. 30. The free screenings are open to children from birth to 4 years old.The dates of the other three screenings are Nov. 18, Feb. 21, and May 9. All screenings will be held at Bobby Ray Elementary.Child development professionals will be on hand at the screenings to evaluate each child.“These screenings are for little ones in our community who might have some development delays,” said Dana Simpson, special education consultant with Warren County Schools.
