Students who don’t like getting up early for school will be able to sleep late one day per month beginning next school year. Members of the Warren County Board of Education voted to have a late start to the school day on the first Thursday of the month from September until April, with the exception of January, because students will still be on Christmas break. May will have a late start time on the second Thursday, May 8.The late start time will be 9:45 a.m.School Board members discussed last month about starting late on the first Wednesday of each month, but were told that day would interfere with the schedule of high school students enrolled at Motlow for dual enrollment classes.
