There will be no guest restrictions at Warren County High School’s graduation ceremony next week.

Graduates will be allowed to invite as many guests as they like, an announcement made by Director of Schools Grant Swallows on Tuesday afternoon.

WCHS graduation is set for next Friday, May 28, at Nunley Stadium.

In addition to high school graduation, there will no longer be restrictions on how many guests attend other year-end school functions such as eighth grade graduation and kindergarten graduation.

Swallows said feedback from School Board members is what prompted him to open the ceremonies to anyone who wants to attend.

“In keeping with our health and safety plan, our end-of-the-year ceremonies were planned with attendance restrictions in place,” said Swallows. “Members of our Board of Education have contacted me individually and asked me to reconsider based on the feedback they are getting. Given their wishes, Warren County Schools ceremonies will no longer have attendance restrictions effective immediately.”
