McMinnville Police Department will be conducting a saturation patrol this weekend.The effort is a sign of things to come, says McMinnville Police Department Lt. Mark Mara. “What we are trying to do is let people know that the major holidays, Christmas and New Year, are almost here and we are preparing for it,” Mara said. The Tennessee Highway Patrol will also be conducting a seatbelt checkpoint Friday night on Nashville Highway.
