A former Warren County sheriff’s deputy has been given probation for inappropriate touching of a female inmate he was transporting back to McMinnville.The incident happened in neighboring Sequatchie County as the former deputy, Alan Roberts, was driving the female inmate to Warren County Jail. Since the crime happened there, the case was also settled in Dunlap. Roberts agreed to terms on the charge of sexual contact with an inmate and was placed on probation for one year by the Sequatchie County court.
