Getting the quality care of Saint Thomas Hospital is now just a heartbeat away.Capella Healthcare, the parent company of River Park Hospital, and Saint Thomas Health have finalized a partnership with the goal of enhancing health care in McMinnville.The deal was announced to a crowd of community leaders yesterday at River Park.“When you hear the name Saint Thomas, it’s a name that’s nationally known for its quality and innovation,” said Capella CEO Dan Slipkovich. “This is a way for us to improve and enhance health care going forward. Our two organizations share a commitment to providing the highest quality of care for the individuals and communities we serve, and we look forward to leveraging our strengths to expand our services.”The partnership is for all four of Capella’s Middle Tennessee hospitals and includes River Park, White County Community Hospital in Sparta, DeKalb Community Hospital in Smithville and Stones River Hospital in Woodbury.
