If you want your child educated in the Warren County School System, but don’t live in the Nursery Capital, the School Board has eased admission requirements.“We are not recruiting out-of-county students. We just want to make things a little more flexible,” said Director of Schools Bobby Cox of the move to loosen the restrictions on out-of-county admissions. The prior rule required students who reside outside Warren County to either have a sibling in the school system or some kind of legal document directing them to attend school here. Another twist, which some applicants found impossible to meet, was a Warren County wheel tax sticker had to be purchased in order for the student to become eligible for admission here.
