Residents are barking discontent after a suggestion by McMinnville Parks and Recreation director Scott McCord to establish a dog park at Ramsey Park.“There are no plans to put a dog park at Ramsey Park,” said McCord. “If and when the city decides to build a dog park, it would seek input from the community.”The city has received regular phone calls since July when an article was published in the Southern Standard about the Civic Center no longer allowing dogs to be inside the fenced-in ballfields due to their owners not picking up after them when nature called. During an interview, McCord was asked “If the city wanted to establish a dog park, where would you recommend it be placed?”
