Repairs requested for ailing city sidewalk

A presentation by a Garfield Street resident has McMinnville officials considering the need to re-do some of the existing sidewalks in the city that are in poor condition.David Snowden treated the Board of Mayor and Aldermen to a slide show that depicted the less-than-desirable conditions of the street’s sidewalk with areas that are cracked, crumbling, missing circular sections where utility poles have been removed, and residential water meters in the middle of the sidewalk.
