Nine defendants were sentenced for failing to take advantage of their second opportunities as Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley handed down punishment for probation violators.Included in court action:• Bryan Dale Davenport must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation on his prior conviction of theft.• Bobby Eugene Forsyth must serve 20 days for violating his probation on his prior conviction for attempt to manufacture meth.• Timothy Gay must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction of theft over $1,000.• Bradford Kirby was ordered to serve 180 days for violating his probation on his prior conviction on charges of initiating the process to manufacture meth.• Paul Knight Jr., must serve 120 days for violating his probation on his prior convictions on charges of theft and promoting the manufacture of meth.• Chasidy Moody must serve 120 days and have probation extended by one year for violating probation on a prior conviction of fraudulently obtaining drugs.• James E. Smith was directed to serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction on the charge of initiating the process to manufacture meth.• James Howard Smith must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction of domestic assault.• Patsy Young must serve 60 days for violating his probation on prior convictions of second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.
