Nine defendants were sentenced for failing to take advantage of their second opportunities as Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley handed down punishment for probation violators.
Included in court action:
• Bryan Dale Davenport must serve the balance of his sentence for violation of probation on his prior conviction of theft.
• Bobby Eugene Forsyth must serve 20 days for violating his probation on his prior conviction for attempt to manufacture meth.
• Timothy Gay must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction of theft over $1,000.
• Bradford Kirby was ordered to serve 180 days for violating his probation on his prior conviction on charges of initiating the process to manufacture meth.
• Paul Knight Jr., must serve 120 days for violating his probation on his prior convictions on charges of theft and promoting the manufacture of meth.
• Chasidy Moody must serve 120 days and have probation extended by one year for violating probation on a prior conviction of fraudulently obtaining drugs.
• James E. Smith was directed to serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction on the charge of initiating the process to manufacture meth.
• James Howard Smith must serve the balance of his sentence for violating his probation on his prior conviction of domestic assault.
• Patsy Young must serve 60 days for violating his probation on prior convictions of second-offense DUI and driving on a revoked license.
