The old Morrison School will be going on the market again with a minimum price of $300,000, according to a motion unanimously approved at Thursday’s Financial Management Committee meeting.Said Director of Schools Bobby Cox, “We thought it would be a good time to put it back on the market. We need to make sure we get the right price out of it and do it the right way.”Although the School Board voted previously to hire a realtor to handle the sale of the school, the committee approved first offering the building on www.govdeals.com with a reserve. Inquiries have already been received about the school and grounds.Since the opening of the new Morrison Elementary School in the fall of 2012, the old school has been for sale while being used for storing county surplus equipment.
