DeWayne Howard, pastor of Bridges of Hope Fellowship Church, recently traveled to Abidjan, West Africa for a mission trip with two elders from his church, Brent Nunley and David Clayton. According to Howard, Abidjan is a city with 8 million people and only 29 Christian churches. To put that in perspective, Warren County has nearly 40,000 people and hundreds of churches.The primary religion in this area is Muslim, which is derived from Islam.
