Fresh off a combined crackdown after the Fourth of July which led to over 200 citations, McMinnville Police Department will be saturating the streets with officers this Friday.“The effort is necessary because of the recent accidents involving injuries and deaths which occurred in Warren County,” said McMinnville Police Lt. Mark Mara of the saturated patrols. “Highly motivated and trained officers comprise the team conducting the saturation patrols. Officers will be actively pursuing impaired drivers by patrolling the streets and conducting traffic stops.”Mara said the public can help out and report unsafe drivers by calling 668-7000, which is the non-emergency number for 911.
