CADIZ, Ky. (AP) — Kentucky State Police have released the identities of four people found shot to death in a western Kentucky home.
Police say the victims were 62-year-old Lindsey Champion; his wife, 60-year-old Joy A. Champion; and the couple's daughter, 31-year-old Emily K. Champion. Police told media the fourth person, 22-year-old Vito Y. Riservato, is suspected of shooting the others.
The shootings took place Sunday at the Champions' home in Cadiz, which is located about 40 miles northwest of Clarksville, Tennessee. The motive remains under investigation.
Kentucky State Trooper Jay Thomas says police are still investigating the relationship between Riservato and the Champions. They think the suspect might have known the family briefly before the shootings.
Autopsies were set for Monday in at the medical examiner's office in Louisville.
