A small plane reportedly experiencing mechanical trouble made a successful crash landing Wednesday morning at a local nursery yard.
According to preliminary information, none of the three people on board were injured.
The plane came to rest next to greenhouses at Larry Walker Nursery located off Highway 30, which is Spencer Highway. An emergency parachute was deployed.
The female pilot told first-responders on the scene that the plane's oil pressure dropped dramatically. Several people called 911 to report seeing the plane going down with a parachute out.
Investigators are still gathering information at the scene. More information will be released as it becomes available.
