The 2014 Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade will have at least three familiar faces. Pioneerettes, from left, Jarah Anderson, Sabrina Caldwell and Lilly Marttala will be part of the 88th annual event and can be seen performing by the rock band Kiss during the parade.
As the nation gathers to celebrate and give thanks with family and friends, three local Warren County High School seniors are joining the biggest spectacle of the holiday season in the 88th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.Pioneerettes Jarah Anderson, captain, Sabrina Caldwell, co-captain, and Lilly Marttala, accepted invitations to join the festivities. While Anderson and Caldwell qualified at UDA camp at Tennessee Tech with the Pioneerettes, Marttala qualified at Iron Man camp at Ole Miss with the Warren Extreme Allstars.The girls flew into New York City on Saturday and were busy practicing their routine and posing for pictures by city landmarks Sunday.“We're really looking forward to it,” said Anderson. “It’s cold, but it’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
