CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — A Middle Tennessee photographer has pleaded guilty to aggravated sexual battery in a case spurred by police finding a "shrine" dedicated to a 9-year-old girl.
The Leaf-Chronicle (http://leafne.ws/1oJv9nb ) reported in Wednesday's editions that 64-year-old Lenzo Grooms of Clarksville also agreed to serve 10 years and be on community supervision for life.
Police arrested Grooms after an investigation that grew out of a tip. Police said Grooms had a photo business charging $20 to take pictures of neighborhood girls.
Authorities said his living room walls were covered with photos of the 9-year-old and writings that called her his "queen" and his "god-bride."
Police said the child had visited Grooms several times between October and January and was molested during one visit.
