Contrary to community-wide speculation, County Executive John Pelham says he will not seek the state representative seat vacated by Charles Curtiss.“I have had many people tell me they heard I would be running,” said Pelham. “I have no idea how that got started. If the good Lord lets me live until Sept. 1, I will go back in business with my father-in-law.”Even if he wanted to run for state representative, Pelham would not be able to run for the seat formerly held by Curtiss.
