Paul's Clinic awarded two grants worth $3,500

Paul’s Clinic is the recipient of two grants totaling $3,500.Paul’s Clinic, located on Nashville Highway near the airport, was incorporated in 2005 and received nonprofit status in 2006.One of the grants is for $2,000 from the Gregg Biffle Foundation for sterilization of pets from low-income households.The Greg Biffle Foundation was founded in 2005 by Greg and Nicole Biffle to improve the well-being of animals by engaging the power and passion of the motor sports industry. Financial support for the foundation comes from a variety of sources, including individual contributions along with the sale of NASCAR Pets calendars and various racing and other sports memorabilia. Its website is www.gregbifflefoundation.com.Paul’s Clinic also received a $1,500 grant from the Build-A-Bear Workshop Bear Hugs Foundation for sterilization of pets from low-income households.“Paul’s Clinic is an ardent advocate of spaying and neutering as an effective way to battle the serious community issues of euthanasia and animal abandonment,” said Villa Mitchell, founder of Paul’s Clinic.
