A woman who lied to police and was caught with a meth lab has avoided jail time. The woman, Destiny Paige Parsons, 20, was given a three-year probationary sentence by Circuit Court Judge Bart Stanley on charges of giving a false report and promoting the manufacture of methamphetamine. She was issued a three-year judicial diversion, meaning she can ask for her record to be erased at the end of her probation as long as she abides by the terms of the diversion. She must also pay $2,000 plus costs, undergo a drug and alcohol assessment and maintain full-time employment as part of her plea deal. Her lie to lawmen happened when investigators came to a residence on Crisp Springs Road to serve a warrant against William Rambo.“When we pulled in the driveway, Ms. Parsons was standing outside by the car,” said sheriff’s investigator Jody Cavanaugh.
