Park Theater movie options considered
Park-Theater
The faade at Park Theater updates passers-by of the Little Rascal showing Aug. 15. The movie will be shown free of charge at 11 a.m.
McMinnville officials are considering what to do about a longstanding deed stipulation that prohibits Park Theater from being used as a movie house, while scheduling a back-to-school movie.“The Little Rascals” was released on August 1994 and will be shown Saturday, Aug. 15, at 11 a.m. Admission is free. The movie was originally scheduled for a Thursday night and consideration was given to what fee to charge for admission. However, the city’s Parks and Recreation Committee met to discuss the event and Alderman Ben Newman discouraged both those aspects.“I think it might be good to do it on a Saturday at 11 a.m. and not charge admission for it,” said Newman.
