Don’t mess with the Empire on Saturday, Dec. 6, as “Star Wars” stormtroopers will be the grand marshals for this year’s 2014 Christmas Parade scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m.“We did receive confirmation that stormtroopers will be our grand marshals for this year’s parade,” said McMinnville Parks and Recreation program coordinator Kendra Foust. “At this time, we don’t know how many stormtroopers will be in attendance.”The theme for this year’s parade is “A Disney Christmas.” While “Star Wars” characters are not traditionally considered Disney, the “Star Wars” series is now owned by Disney.
