Pack falls trying to balance on rail

The McMinnville woman who fell 10 stories to her death in Panama City, Fla., was trying to balance on a balcony railing, according to the sheriff’s department report obtained Tuesday by the Southern Standard.Leah Pack, 22, was seen “leaning over the railing on the balcony trying to balance on her stomach” the report states.Pack was vacationing in Panama City on July 4 when the accident took place. The initial report released by the Bay County Sheriff’s Office said she fell 10 floors at the Regency Towers condominium and said foul play was not suspected. No other details were provided.In the report released Tuesday, officer J. Sumerall gave this account of the fatal accident.“Upon my arrival, I was directed to the pool deck at the rear of the building by a large crowd of onlookers.
