With McMinnville officials generating the budget for fiscal year 2013-14, nonprofit organizations are encouraged to get written requests into city hall for consideration. Finance Committee chairman Ken Smith says written requests should include a copy of the organizaton’s budget and an expense report.“We do need to receive their budget for next fiscal year, as well as their current incoming expense report, so that we can study that and make our decisions,” said Smith. The proposed budget considered by officials on May 16 included an estimated $146,378 for nonprofits, $136,800 less than was actually given the previous year.
