A coordinated effort by McMinnville Public Works, Caney Fork Electric and Superior Walls brought in the tree that will adorn downtown over the holiday season.“It is probably one of the best formed trees we have had,” said McMinnville Public Works director Bill Brock. “It’s a cedar tree and it’s wide.”The tree is approximately 27 feet tall and weighs 3,800 pounds. It was donated by Dot McGee.“I took care of that little old tree since it came up,” said McGee.
