The Sarah Polk Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) made a book set donation to Magness Library in honor of Mary Agnes Dantzler Cook on Saturday. Dantzler was an assistant librarian at the library.“Magness Library is very grateful to the Sarah Polk Chapter NSDAR for these great works and they will be in the genealogy department for everyone to use,” said Magness Library director Brad Walker. “Mrs. Cook was a wonderful volunteer and assistant librarian for many years and Magness Library will always be grateful for the volunteers and employees who have made it such a wonderful cornerstone of McMinnville and Warren County’s history.”Cook worked at the library as a volunteer to assist librarian Donnie Ray in 1957 and then as assistant librarian from Jan. 1, 1958 thru Dec. 21, 1980.
