Two part-time judicial commissioners have been hired to replace Gerald Rowland, who recently resigned for personal issues.Out of four scheduled interviews, Susan Newby and Brenda Muncey, both of McMinnville, were chosen to fill the positions.Policy and Personnel Committee chairman Ken Martin, along with members Carlene Brown, Wayne Copeland, Charles Morgan, and Tommy Savage, voted 5-0 to approve the selection of Newby and Muncey.Following drug tests and background checks, the new hires will begin training.The commission also voted unanimously to name Ernest Brewington to the Veteran’s Advisory Committee, replacing Chuck Mayfield.
