Riverfront Park will see some improvements in 2013. The deteriorating wooden welcome sign was recently replaced and officials accepted a TWRA grant Tuesday night that will continue the upgrades.Not related to the grant, the sign replacement was a must for McMinnville Parks and Recreation director Scott McCord.“This is one of those things that you can drive by for years but never notice its condition,” said McCord. “The sign into such a beautiful place was in very bad shape.”
