A visit to the new Morrison School, currently under construction off Highway 55, reveals a job site bustling with activity and a building that is, quite literally, already taking shape. After 60 days on the job, contractor Biscan Construction has the walls up on the gym and the concrete poured for one of the classroom wings.Project superintendent Jeff Neville said he is pleased with the headway and the project is presently ahead of schedule.“The weather’s been palatable, so we are in front of the schedule a little bit and will continue to do so,” Neville said. “Basically the structural footers, the in-ground footers around the perimeter that hold the building up, are in place.
