FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) — A Florida man accused of dumping his pregnant wife's body in a trash bin also has been charged with killing his father-in-law. The Sun Sentinel report s that Hollywood police say 22-year-old Cassandritz Blanc was charged Wednesday in the death of 68-year-old Roosevelt Bernard of Hollywood. An arrest report says Blanc shot Bernard and set the corpse on fire in a field near his father-in-law's home to try to conceal the killing last weekend.
