Morrison's boys and Dibrell's girls put an exclamation point on undefeated seasons Tuesday night by winning the county tournament at WCHS.
In boys action, Morrison held off an Eastside team that led at halftime to claim a 41-32 victory. Eastside came ready to play, but saw control slip away midway through the third quarter when Morrison was able to play its run-and-gun style. When it gets into that type of game, the quick Eagles are tough to beat.
In girls action, Dibrell staved off a hard charge from Irving College late in the game to win, 40-37. The Lady Wildcats were up six before a 3-pointer at the buzzer accounted for the final margin.
Both teams went through the county season unbeaten.
