A mother who ran over her child’s foot as the girl was trying to stop her from driving drunk has been sentenced to a month in jail.The mother, Tracy J. Brackley, 40, entered a guilty plea to the charge of domestic assault and was instructed by Judge Larry Ross to serve 30 days of an 11-month, 29-day sentence. She will be allowed to report to do her time after the new year. She has also been instructed to follow the directives of the Department of Children’s Services in regard to the custody of the daughter whose foot she ran over.The incident happened a couple weeks ago as Brackley was trying to leave her residence.
