Tuesday’s early morning mock emergency drill at Bobby Ray Memorial Elementary tested local response and caused minimal concern in the community.“It went well,” said McMinnville Police Chief Bryan Denton. “The call went out about a disgruntled parent at the school at 8:30 a.m.”In a mock scenario, a female went into the school and took principal Beverly Ramsey hostage. While the female took Ramsey through the building, an individual was pushed down a flight of stairs and was unresponsive.Responding to the initial call was McMinnville Police Department Lt. Chuck Taylor, as well as McMinnville Fire Department and Warren County Ambulance Service.
