Meeting to review FSA Committee election procedures

Warren County Farm Service Agency director Steve Stubblefield announces that a special meeting will be held on Monday night, June 24, to review and discuss the nomination and election process for the 2013 County Farm Service Agency Committee election.
“We plan to discuss the nomination and election process, the purpose of the County FSA Committee members and their function while serving on the county committee” said Stubblefield. Producers and landowners will also be able to view the map of the Local Administrative Areas (LAAs) established by the current County Committee to see which LAA a person/ landowner is associated with. “We’ll also have some nomination forms available as well as pamphlets that help explain the nomination and election process,” said Stubblefield.
The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Magnolia Room of the Warren County Administrative Building, located at 201 Locust Street McMinnville. Everyone is invited to attend.
