Park Theatre is under a new roof, according to Mayor Jimmy Haley. Haley informed members of the Joint Economic and Community Development executive board that roofers were finishing work on the roof of the structure on Friday.Haley also said the city had applied for a loan to help pay for rehab of the theatre.He said the back part of the Blue Building which included the gymnasium and auditorium has been removed. “We are working on design plans for a new police and fire complex there,” Haley said.Haley informed members that McMinnville has applied for a TDOT grant to expand the sidewalk from downtown all the way to River Park Hospital.
