For the Warren County Commission, the official decision on meeting minutes has been made, but the debate continues. In a special meeting of committee chairs, County Executive Herschel Wells addressed the topic of meeting minutes, an issue that has come up for debate recently.The meeting was scheduled to address the concerns of a few commissioners who felt minutes were being handled incorrectly. Most vocal has been new commissioner Michael Shane Wilcher, who listed his concerns in two letters to Wells dated Oct. 14 and 28.Says Wilcher in one letter, “Attached you will find a document which contains concerns I have about the preparation and availability of meeting minutes and solutions which would be of benefit to both the commission as well as the citizens.”
