The McMinnville Board of Mayor and Aldermen said farewell to three of its members Tuesday night. Aldermen Ken Smith, Billy Wood and Rick Barnes officially completed their service to the city.“We have three board members leaving us tonight,” said Mayor Jimmy Haley. “I would like to present each of them with a plaque of appreciation.”When contacted after the meeting, Smith says the board has accomplished several things in the last two years.“We are getting new streetlights and there is emphasis being placed, it appears, on sidewalks.
