TAZEWELL, Tenn. (AP) — Claiborne County officials say a man who was upset that his friend was struck and killed by a train fired gunshots into one. Mark Anthony Bruce is due in court Tuesday to answer to an aggravated assault charge, according to The Knoxville News Sentinel. The 47-year-old Bruce was arrested June 3, a day after a Norfolk Southern train crew, performing a routine safety check on a stopped train, told police Bruce said a train killed his friend and then pumped about five shots into their train.
