A 29-year-old Smithville resident was robbed early Friday morning at Scottish Inns on Sparta Street.According to McMinnville detective Stuart Whitman, the male victim had recently received his income tax return and had come to McMinnville to celebrate. However, in celebrating with a group of friends Thursday night and into Friday morning, the victim was attacked.“He invited them here to party with him and they wanted his money,” said Whitman. “The victim did know all of his offenders.
