A man was injured Saturday morning in a two-car collision at the intersection of Francis Ferry Road and East Green Hill Road.
The injured driver, Timothy Haston, was taken to River Park Hospital by the Warren County Emergency Ambulance Service. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The driver of the car in which he collided, Adrienne Elizabeth Nunley, escaped injury but did not escape citation for reportedly causing the wreck. The accident happened just before noon.
According to Highway Patrolman Rodney Whiles, Nunley was heading eastbound on Green Hill Road, toward the Midway ball field, when she failed to yield at the four-way stop intersection.
Her failure to stop led her directly into the path of Haston’s S-10 pickup which had its bed loaded with materials he was hauling. He was heading north, away from McMinnville.
