The Southern Standard’s annual Best of the Best publication, now renamed Simply the Best, is a time of excitement for dozens of winners.

But with nearly 200 categories, there’s also room for confusion.

With several categories pertaining to homes, construction and the real estate industry in general, the Standard wants to clarify Lynne Cole has been named Simply the Best realtor for 2019.

Lynne, the co-owner of Kirby Real Estate, has nearly 40 years in the business, getting her start in 1980. For 30 years, she was an educator by day and real estate agent and broker by night.

Lynne says she enjoys working with all types of home buyers, whether they are professionals relocating from another town, or empty-nesters looking to downsize. She says the key is to take time to listen to what the customer wants.

Lynne says she’s had the privilege of selling homes to three generations of one particular family. In another amusing tale, she says there’s one house in McMinnville she’s sold a whopping five times.
