Locke hands down traffic sentences

A 47-person arraignment docket was heard Thursday morning by General Sessions Judge Bill Locke in Traffic Court. Included in court action:• Alan Norton was ordered to serve 10 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $2,560, perform 24 hours public service work, attend DUI school and lose his driver license for one year for simple possession of drugs and DUI.• David Boyer was ordered to serve 45 days of an 11-29 sentence, pay $504 and lose his driver license for two years for second-offense driving on a suspended license.• Fidel Lopez was ordered to serve 48 hours and pay $444 for driving without a license.• Steven Bly was given a six-month sentence but released on time served and must pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Chad Meeks was directed to serve 48 hours of a six-month sentence, pay $352 and lose his driver license for one year for driving on a suspended license.• Britton Cantrell and Joshua Cripps must pay $187 for driving without a license and speeding.• Kristian Boyd must pay $325 for driving without a license and speeding.• Gary Bouldin and Jeffery Merriman must pay $152 for driving without a license.• Joshua Roark must serve 70 days and have his probation extended by one year for failure to appear in court and violation of probation.Clarification• Juan Rodriguez who works with Warren County Schools is not the Juan Rodriguez Navarro convicted of driving without a license.
