A local woman was killed over the weekend in a head-on crash in neighboring Cannon County.The victim, Kathleen Stuart, 58, of McMinnville died from injuries sustained in the Saturday evening accident. The driver of the other vehicle, Harold Herriman of Woodbury, was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for treatment of critical injuries.According to preliminary Highway Patrol reports, the wreck happened around 8:20 p.m. as Stuart was heading eastbound, toward McMinnville, on Nashville Highway (Highway 70) in a Kia. She met an oncoming westbound Ford pickup driven by Herriman, who was rounding a slight uphill curve.
