A Friday morning wreck sent a 53-year-old woman to the hospital with an apparent neck injury.The two-vehicle crash happened on Sparta Street in front of Three Star Mall just after 11 a.m.Injured was Smithville resident Pamelia Baines, 53, who was at fault for the collision. According to McMinnville patrolman Eddie Colwell, Baines received a citation for careless driving.As her Ford Fusion was traveling through the main intersection in front of the mall, it was struck on the passenger side by a Ford F150 driven by Rock Island resident Timothy King. King, 59, did not sustain any injuries from the crash.
