Birthdays are a celebration of your life and the people and events that have been part of it.Veteran Del Garforth blew out the candles on his 90th birthday cake Wednesday and was presented with a tribute of his past, a book written and published about his experiences as a signalman in the Navy during World War II.Book author Ray McCoy, a close family friend, made the presentation. “Del and I got to talking about his time in the service,” said McCoy. “That was in 2011.
