School volunteers improve the lives of students and ease the burden on teachers. Warren County Schools recognized Herman Workman, a grandparent volunteer, for his assistance in manning the concession stand during home games at Morrison School. According to Morrison teacher Tina Smith, who made the nomination, it didn’t take much coaxing on her part to receive help from Workman.
