In spite of COVID, the 10th annual Wonderland of Trees was a heartwarming success.
The week-long event, held at Three Star Mall, brought in $11,000 to benefit people in hospice care.
Members of Caring Hearts United, a nonprofit which organizes the event, want to extend a thank you to the silent auction donors, the people who bid on the decorations, and the ones who purchased items from their Christmas Store.
Dianne Sneed, chair of Caring Hearts United, extended a special thank you to her fellow members for all the hours devoted to Wonderland of Trees. She said, “Because of all your hard work, we will be bringing smiles to hospice patients for several holidays to come.”
The organization also wanted to give thanks to the businesses which donated gift certificates to the Stocking Stuffer and Christmas Gift giveaways, to all the entertainment, to the bake sale donors, and to those who helped promote the event.
Money earned is already being put to work as Caring Hearts United has started purchasing the items that will go in the Christmas bags that will be sent to hospice patients.
“To all those who didn’t get to attend this year, we want to invite you to mark your calendars for the week before Thanksgiving 2021,” Sneed said. “You will not want to miss out again on all the fun and festivities we enjoy sharing with the residents of Warren County.”

“Your hearts can feel warm to know you helped Caring Hearts United bring smiles to those who are special to our hearts,” said Sneed.
