This station wagon was driven into wet concrete on Old Smithville Road on Friday, passing road closed barriers along the way.
A woman bypassed barriers and drove right into the middle of road construction on Friday, sinking the front wheels of her station wagon in wet concrete, according to McMinnville Police.The woman, Mary Kuc, 60, of McMinnville was cited for traveling on a closed road. Her car was pulled from the concrete by a wrecker and she was able to drive away.The incident happened around 11:45 a.m. on Old Smithville Road near its intersection with Yager Road. The city's Public Works Department is doing road work there to repair underground tiles and road closed signs and barriers are in place to prevent traffic."She said she saw the signs but thought that they only applied to thru traffic," said McMinnville officer Richard Teachout.
